Inkerman, County Durham : ウィキペディア英語版 | Inkerman, County Durham
Inkerman was a village in County Durham, in England. It was situated a short distance to the north-west of Tow Law. Originated as a village of ironstone miners, it was built in 1854-1855 and named after the victorious Battle of Inkerman of the Crimean War, similarly to Balaclava, another County Durham village. In 1930s the mining in the area went into liquidation, and the village was demolished in 1938.
